P90X Doubles Update 11-27-2009 Confessions of a Fat Boy

Holidays seem to bring out the worst in me when it comes to dieting and eating right. Back in the day when I was overweight, I remember the mentality I had when it came to food…”eat until you can’t.” I hated to waste food and didn’t like the feeling of still being hungry after a meal. In a way, I would feel cheated or I didn’t get the most out of my meal. Even after I was full, I felt like I needed a little bit more just to set me over the top. Messed up isn’t it? Well all of those feelings came back last night for Thanksgiving dinner. I ate everything from turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra, breaded shrimp, asparagus, bread rolls, more fried okra (I love this stuff), German chocolate cake, stuffing and I think I sneaked in some gummy Power Rangers candies that I stole from my nephew. Have you ever eaten so much that you couldn’t stand up straight? Yeah, I did that to myself last night. I weighed myself this morning and came in at 181 lbs. This is the heaviest I have been in months. I’m going to have to get my diet under control and caught up on my workouts if I want an awesome after P90X doubles picture. I will be attempting to complete a full week’s workout in 3 days.
Today: Chest & Back, Plyometrics
Tomorrow: Shoulders & Arms, Yoga X
Sunday: Legs & Back, Kenpo X
