P90X Classic Day 22

P90X Workout: Yoga X

This will be my first “rest” week of P90X classic. This means I will have one additional rest day this week. The workouts will consist of cardiovascular workouts (Core Synergistics, Kenpo X) and Yoga X.  This is the period designed to allow muscles to rest and grow. During phase one of P90X Lean, there were 6 resistance days total. In phase one of P90X classic, there are 9 days of resistance training. I am interested to see how my body will react to this change. Not only are there more resistance days, but I actually kept track of my reps and weight and improved upon them week after week.

My P90X Diet

  • Meal 1: 1 banana, 4 eggs, spinach, 2 pieces of whole wheat toast,
  • Meal 2: apple
  • Meal 3: grilled chicken breast, 2 pieces of whole wheat toast, banana
  • Meal 4: peanut butter, 2 pieces of whole wheat toast
  • Meal 5: egg scrambler (eggs, potatoes, spinach)
