P90X Classic Day 23

P90X Workout: Core Synergistics

Seriously, I don’t remember this workout being this hard! After all, I had done it 13 times during P90X Lean. Then again, it has been around 4 weeks since I had last done it. This workout only takes place during the rest week of P90X Classic. In P90X Lean, this workout was done every week during all phases. My body once again feels like it was off balance. However, there were a few moves like the prison cell push-up and reach high and under push-ups that I felt significant improvement in since P90X lean. I was able to crank out 10 prison cell push-ups! That’s a tough move. I caught myself taking frequent breaks during the routine to catch my breath and hydrate. Maybe I didn’t have enough to eat before the workout.

My P90X Diet

  • Meal 1: Muscle Milk, turkey pepperoni
  • Meal 2: apple, wheat crackers
  • Meal 3: grilled chicken breast, 2 pieces of whole wheat toast
  • Meal 4: grilled chicken breast, 2 pieces of whole wheat toast
  • Meal 5: wheat crackers, coffee
  • Meal 6: Muscle Milk, watermelon, spinach soup
