P90X Classic – Day 52 Thoughts

Man on man…I really give props to people who keep up with their blogs and consistently update their website’s content. Like going through P90X, I am finding out that blogging also takes time dedication, planning, drive and self discipline. So again, to all the mainstream P90X and Non-P90x bloggers out there, I give you all a big hand!

Luckily, I have been keeping up with ALL the P90X Classic workouts and my diet log. So far, I have been able to develop the habit of writing down everything that I eat and keeping up with the daily workouts according the with P90X Classic calendar. Writing down what you eat throughout the day has been an eye opening thing. You don’t really notice how much or what you eat through the day without writing it down. It’s easy to eat piece of candy, take that extra bite or have a snack and then forget about it. Again, I have not been strictly measuring out my food or following the P90X nutrition plan exactly but I have been eating much more clean than I did during P90X lean. I have been planning and preparing my meals ahead of time and staying away from fast food.

I did have a few slip ups! The bachelor party was pretty kick ass. Austin is quite the party town and I forgot what it was like to party like a college student. I can’t drink like a used to! I was conscious about what I was eating the whole time for the most part. The day after is when I pigged out on some fast food. I was able to bounce back and get on track after recovering from the 24 hour lag period.

So how am I feeling physically? I feel great! All the physical benefits I mentioned I received after completing P90X lean, have been amplified. Not only that, I weighed in at 169 lbs. I haven’t weighed that much since High School! This is rest week for the last phase of P90X classic. It will be 4 weeks resistance and cardio instead of 3 weeks like the previous phases.

I am aware that I have not been doing a great job of engaging readers, so for that I apologize. So please, whether you have positive or negative feedback, please reach out. Again, I am no expert but if you have questions I would be more than happy to help any way I can!
